Na finiszu wakacji mam dla was projekt w morskich klimatach. Mocno postarzona i przetarta deska którą ozdobiłam motywami z papieru ryżowego Artistiko. Mam nadzieję że w zimowe wieczory będzie mi przypominać o nadmorskich wakacjach i starych portach.

As the holidays are coming to an end, I have a project for you in a nautical atmosphere. A heavily aged and rubbed board which I decorated with motifs from Artistiko rice paper. I hope that in the winter evenings it will remind me of seaside holidays and old ports.
Drewnianą deskę do krojenia pomalowałam bejcą a następnie miejsca w których chciałam zrobić przetarcia przetarłam woskiem. Całość pomalowałam farbą akrylową a potem przy pomocy szpachelki zdarłam farbę w miejscach gdzie był wosk. Metodą decoupage ozdobiłam deskę papierem ryżowym. Na koniec jeszcze parę chlapnięć i deska gotowa.
I painted the wooden cutting board with a stain and then rubbed off the wax where I wanted to make scuffs. I painted the whole thing with acrylic paint and then used a spatula to scrape off the paint where the wax had been. Using the decoupage method, I decorated the board with rice paper. Finally, a few more splashes and the board is ready.
